Tom Holland - Local Artist

Walking through our nearest town Penryn I noticed the Tom Holland gallery, this is the only image I could find to post up but if you go to his website you will find lots more images and information. 

I really love this style of painting, simple, graphical but full of atmosphere. Most of Tom's paintings are of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and they really capture the associations of the country. Beautiful!

I will definitely be looking to buy some of Toms artwork in the future!

Before I explain the image above which is also from the Do What You Love Blog, I should give you a little background on this fantastic Blog. 

The lady that owns this blog has achieved a lot! Check out the About Me page to find out more, I follow this blog is for the inspirational posts. Of course the blog title always reminds me of how important it is to follow your heart, your dreams and to truly enjoy what you are doing especially when it comes to earning your bread and butter. 

Easier said than done I know but I think once you realise the above you are well on the road to making it happen and I think the world would be a much better place if we all followed this mantra!

OK slightly off the beaten track there! So back to the Lovely Stuff, the image above is a print by Natalie Alexander titled Tangerine Floral. Gorgeous late hot summer colours, this one makes my mouth water!
